Franz Günther

Franz Günther founder and sole managing partner of Corporate Consulting & Interim Management GmbH (short: CCI MANAGEMENT).

Mr. Günther established Corporate Consulting & Interim Management GmbH (CCI MANAGEMENT) in 2001. According to the company name with the components "Corporate Consulting" and "Interim Management" he combined his practical management experience with a track record in both the industry- and consulting-sector with focus in particular on Mergers & Acquisitions- and strategic alliance-projects as an integrative approach to strategic management.

Mr. Günther started his professional career with Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu KGaA, Munich, Germany, a Munich brewery, as Executive Board Assistant and Head of Special Projects with projects such as Organizational Development- and Mergers & Acquisitions-projects.

Subsequently, Mr. Günther entered into the management consulting-business where he most recently worked at Knight Wendling Consulting GmbH, Düsseldorf, Germany as Business Area Manager in charge of the business area Business Effectiveness. During that time, Mr. Günther developed and applied new special management techniques, whereby he combined strategic consulting methods with efficiency improvement methods and enterprise value assessment methods as a fully integrated approach, and executed this new holistic approach in different projects and lines of business.

After his time at Knight Wendling Consulting, Mr. Günther joined H. Bahlsens Keksfabrik KG, Hannover, Germany, a leading brand manufacturer of sweet biscuits and savory snacks in Germany and Europe with worldwide export markets. Here he took over in the Management Holding the position as Area Manager in charge of Strategic Controlling and Group Wide Projects. Among other tasks, he was in charge of the restructuring and separation of the company group into two business units: "Sweet Biscuits" and "Savory Snacks". Both business units were thereby realigned in the market as two stand-alone companies.

Prior to founding CCI MANAGEMENT, Mr. Günther was a senior officer at W. F. Kaiser u. Co. GmbH, Diez/Lahn, Germany, a brand manufacturer of baking pans and accessories with an international leading position in the high-ended market, as Management Board Member (Chief Financial Officer), and as Executive Board Chairman in the meat & sausage-industry with Andreas Sieber GmbH Wurst- und Schinkenspezialitäten, Geretsried/Munich, Germany, a company that produces famous Munich specialties such as Munich Veal Sausage and other sausage- and ham-specialties. With Kaiser, Mr. Günther carried out a complete outsourcing whereby the internal outbound- and warehouse-logistics was split off and transferred to a newly established logistics company as a subsidiary of a new, external logistics partner. At Sieber, Mr. Günther redesigned the order processing chain, whereby the internal shops were separated from the company and transferred to single operators on the basis of a specific franchise concept.

Mr. Günther studied at Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany, brewery and beverage technology with the main emphasis on food technology, mechanical engineering, chemistry, microbiology, process engineering and energy engineering with a university graduation as Dipl.-Ing. Univ., as well as economics with a main emphasis on management techniques, business management, national economy and law with a second university degree as Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Univ..

Globalscope Partners Expands Global Footprint at Globalscope Spring 2024 Conference in Tokyo

Globalscope Partners Ltd., a worldwide network of middle-market M&A specialists, welcomed two new members at its 2024 Spring Conference — Consilium Partners LLC, Boston, USA (Consilium Partners; https://www.cpboston.com) and Mediterranean Corporate Finance, Tunis, Tunisia (MCF; https://www.med-cf.com).

Both firms were voted in at the network’s bi-annual meeting held April 17-20 at the Hilton Odaiba Hotel in Tokyo. Founded by Greg Sneddon, Consilium Partners provides a full range of sector-specialized investment banking services. MCF, founded by Mehdi Sethom, provides M&A, fundraising and advisory services throughout the Middle East and Africa, based out of their offices in Tunis, Morocco, and Dubai.

Both of the new member firms will play a strategic role in strengthening Globalscope’s international presence.

Having partners on the ground in each of these markets broadens Globalscop´s geographical reach and deepens the networks expertise tangibly in both existing and emerging M&A categories worldwide.

One of Globalscope’s primary benefits is the personal commitment and connections our members make with each other. Every member is independent, but collectively, the members can provide clients with a level of skills and service seldom found in the middle-market.

The Tokyo meeting was hosted by Globalscope’s Japanese member firm, COHEN Partners.
